About Longevity Massage and Skincare

Hey,
I’m Amy, a licensed esthetician since 1996, a licensed massage therapist since 2003 and owner of Longevity Massage & Skin Care. I offer nurturing therapeutic massage and skin care treatments for active people over 40 to help them maintain health, reduce pain, and recover from trauma.

Active people over 40 have been a major part of my practice for over 20 years. The messages we receive about this time in our lives can be confusing, overwhelming and just downright depressing. I am on a mission to shift that way of thinking and prove that looking good and feeling good have nothing to do with your age. We have been aging since we were born, it is a completely natural process. Through my years of practice, I have found that managing stress, releasing tension, being flexible, eating whole foods, being active, maintaining and protecting healthy skin are key factors to your present and future health and happiness.

In 2011, I earned a Health Coaching certificate through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. This expanded my previous knowledge to include nutrition, mindfulness and relationships. No need to be perfect, be present and makesimple daily improvements. Having my own struggles with health has taught me the importance of acknowledging where I am, where I want to go and taking action despite the pace of my progress. I am here to support you whether you area very active, getting back to it or just beginning.

I enjoy making time every day to appreciate the beauty of life. Nature keeps me grounded and in tune with myself. Whether at home or in travel I love to engage with animals, the sea, forests, mountains, prairies or a great trail. I love animals, especially dogs! I am an advocate for animals, nature and human rights.
